Dudley still unbeaten this season
Dudley remained in the top ten and remain unbeaten this season after a battling 2-2 draw at home to Bewdley Town this evening in atrocious conditions. A late equaliser and first ever goal for Dudley from Tyrone Clarke earned a creditable draw after a far better second half display. Had it not been for the Bewdley keeper Jordan Nadat would have won the game for Dudley in extra time. Bedworth next in the FA Cup on Saturday. C'mon the Robins!! Read more.

It is with regret that the committee of Dudley Town Football Club announces that First Team Coach Kevin Thompson has decided to join Chasetown FC as 1st Team Coach. Kevin moves with both our approval and best wishes as it is a job he just could not turn down. Chasetown has been at the centre of Kevin's succesful football career and he spent many seasons as captain of the club including their FA Cup run that ended in their televised clash against Oldham Athletic. In his very short spell at Dudley Town he has helped our new management team of Steve Hinks and Richard Smith in the development and shaping of a complete new squad of players. Kevin has been a great asset to our club and has helped develop each and every member of our very young squad. With Kevin's playing season in doubt after a horrific injury in the opening game of the season, the committee also wish Kevin a speedy recovery back to full fitness. Kevin was a very popular figure at the club and will be missed, but everyone wishes him every success in his new role in what is a very high standard of football. Dudley Town set the early pace with their second win in 3 days taking them to the top of the league - at least for 24 hours!! Credit where its due!! Pre-Season draws to a close
Dudley Town put up a great fight this evening before eventually losing 3-2 to Romulus, a team from 2 leagues higher than ourselves. All 3 officials commented on both teams performance and behaviour in a fiercely but fairly contested game that was a great spectacle for our highest pre-season crowd of 80. Read more.

New Robins Team first Pre-Season Friendly 17th July
Our new look squad endured a narrow 2-1 defeat this afternoon, away at last years Division 1 champions Wellington Amateurs. With Dudley Town's first starting eleven of the new season not including a single player from last season, things looked bright when centre forward Alex Bowen opened the scoring for Dudley after only 5 minutes. However Wellington scored two goals before half time and this concluded the scoring for the game despite Dudley hitting the woodwork on two occasions. Full match report to follow. Read more.

New Management Team Jigsaw Complete?
Dudley Town Football Club are delighted to announce that new Manager Steve Hinks has secured the very experienced Kevin Thompson as player / coach for the forthcoming season. Kevin is a UEFA B Coach who has played for Chasetown, Bridgnorth, Willenhall and Stourbridge. A popular central defender, Kevin Thompson has a long and distinguished non-league career serving 6 seasons @ Chasetown from 2002-08. Thompson made 186 appearances for Chasetown, netting 13 goals. Thompson played in the "Match of the Day" match against Oldham Athletic, and was also at the club during the Cardiff FA Cup-run. Read more.

Our Sunday Under 21's Sunday side, managed by Ben Store, lifted the Bilston Partnership League Under 21's Charity Cup, beating Wednesbury Town by five goals to two at Bilston Towns ground. A hat trick from young striker Matt Corfield and further strikes from Steve Whitehouse and Harry Williams, secured the club's first cup of the season adding to the Under 15 league title won by our Under 15 side. Congratulations to Conor Gater
Conor continues his progression in football with an appearance for England Under 18's in their International against the Republic of Ireland last night at Burton Albion's Pirelli Stadium. A crowd of almost 4000 attended, with a carnival atmosphere of England flags, hats and loud 'hooters'!!! The match was also televised live on Sky Sports. Connor did himself, his family and Dudley Town Football Club proud, with an impressive first-half performance that gained momentum in the last 20 minutes of the half. I was certainly very proud as Vice-Chairman of Dudley Town Football Club to watch one of our players represent England at Under 18 level. Read more.

Dudley Town Goalkeeper was deservedly crowned AJL Kitchen Design Player of the Month for October. James has on many occasions and especially over the last few weeks, pulled off some vital saves to keep us up towards the top of the league. One of the most important of these was his penalty save against Oldbury Athletic which certainly won us the game as much as Mensah Kinch's wonder strike. Dudley Town Football Club are proud to present their first ever 'all club do'. An early (extremely early) Xmas Party has been arranged for Friday 13th November at Parkes Hall Social in Dudley. For the amazing price of £5 per person (the same for kids and we are not making money on this ticket price), you will get entertained and fed all night. We have lined up a professional party band Rang-A-Rang who regularly appear on Crusie Ships, Holiday Camps and other top entertainment venues across the UK (see their website www.rang-a-tang.co.uk). They will do two slots across the evening and in between there will be a buffet and disco. As any member of the management commmittee or football managers for tickets now as tickets are on a first come first served basis and are limited. The Management Committee of Dudley Towon Football Club would like to welcome new signings Greg Grey, Ricky Nicholls and Matthieu Jouannic to the club. Greg signed a few weeks ago from Bustleholme. Ricky is an ex WBA Under 18 and reserve team player who spent last season with Forest Green Rovers and has featured in the last few games for the Robins. Finally we have now received clearance for French player Matthieu to join our squad for tomorrows difficult away tie at in form Ludlow. Matthieu has played at a fairly high standard in France and has fitted in well and looked good in training with the 1st team. Read more.

Pitting their football skills against teams including Shifnal, Boldmere St Michaels and Bustleholme, a Dudley Town Team made up of a number of last years first team plus 2 a n others!, won the final with Marvin Nisbett continuing from last season by hitting the winner against Bustleholme. ANNUAL AWARDS - Season 2008/2009
Last night we held our annual presentation evening at Parkes Hall Social with a fantastic attendance of over 200 people. This years awards were made even more special by the fact that our new Under 17's team had their League Championship to display and celebrate, winning the league by a massive 9 points and also the fact that our Under 14's won the Bilston League Fair Play Award. Selected from over 90 teams this is a fantastic achievement for the team and an honour for the club, winning them a large shield, a brand new strip for next season and they will also be invited to a press conference to receive individual awards and have their picture taken for local papers. 1st team dynamo Marvin Nisbett deservedly, picked up 2 out of the 4 main 1st team awards Read more.
